Services for Mrs. Charlcie Marie Witherspoon, age 83, of Hideaway, are scheduled for 10 AM on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 in the Hideaway Lake Community Church with Bro. Herschel Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in the Sabine Cemetery under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Directors in Lindale. Mrs. Witherspoon met our heavenly father on Monday, February 8, 2010. She was born on August 5, 1926 in Lindale, Texas to Obie Lee & Nevada Minerva Pool Jordan and was formerly a resident of Dallas before moving to Hideaway 16 years ago. Mrs. Witherspoon was retired from the Ohio Casualty Insurance Company and was an active member of the Hideaway Lake Community Church where she enjoyed Bible Studies. She was also involved in numerous Clubs concerning the Hideaway Community including the Hideaway Fishing Club, The Red Hat Club, and the Newcomers Club. Mrs. Witherspoon was proud of her family especially her son and grandchildren, and will be missed by her many friends.
