Funeral services for Robert Lee Sr., age 66 of Lindale, Texas, is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home Chapel in Lindale with Bro. Danny Barnett officiating. Interment will follow at the Lindale City Cemetery. Robert passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021 at his home in Lindale. He was born August 8, 1954 in Nacogdoches, Texas to the late Bill and Lucy (Palmer) Lee. Robert has lived in Lindale for last 35 years where he was self employed in the asphalt/construction business. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was also a Shriner. Robert enjoyed fishing, mowing, watching westerns and the news, his dogs Pug and Cujo, but most of all he loved spending time with his beloved family. He is preceded in death by daughter, Samantha Jane Lee; brothers, Billy Lee, Elmer “White Man” Lee, Sammy K. Lee; sisters, Charlotte Lee, and Goldie Cooper; father-in-law, Gene C. Smith; and many nieces and nephews. Robert is survived by his wife of 34 years, Becky Lee of Lindale that recently wrote to him, “My angel, my heart, and my best friend, this is not goodbye, but I’ll see you at the gates soon, I’ll love you until I’m back in your arms”; children, Kelly Baker and husband, Isaac of Lindale, Robin Boswell and husband, Joe of Texarkana, Robert Lee Jr. and wife, Odie of Tyler, and Levy Aaron Lee and wife, Charlene of Van; brothers, Butch Lee, Danny Lee, and Levy R. Lee; sisters, Wanda Carr, Helen Knowles, and Elizabeth “Nan Nan” Todd; mother-in-law, Mary Jo Smith; brothers-in-law, Eric Smith and Trent Smith; grandchildren, Isaac Jo, Elijah, Roman, Allie, Diamond, Joesabella, Baby Joe, Ransome Cash, Azzy, Brooklyne, Izabella, Doodle, and Baby Presley Marie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Lee Jr., Levy Aaron Lee, Isaac Baker, Isaac Jo Baker, Elijah Robert Baker, and Billy Don Lee Jr. Honorary pallbearers include, Roman Baker, Ransome Cash Lee, and Baby Joe Boswell. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale.
