Fay Ellen Huyck Webster

Fay Ellen Huyck Webster Holly Lake Ranch, Hawkins, TX, passed away on Sunday, April 25, after a courageous battle of cervical cancer at the Hospice Center of East Texas. Fay was born on September 23, 1955, the fourth of five children to Frank and Ada Huyck in Jackson, Michigan. She graduated from Northwest High School in Jackson and was a 1975 graduate of Stautzenberger Business College in Toledo, Ohio. In Denver, Colorado she met the love of her life and married Max Webster on March 2, 1985 in DeSoto, Texas. Family was Fay's most important virtue in life and she loved her Texan family Memorial Day camping adventures and holiday get togethers. Fay enjoyed returning home to Michigan each year and loved to visit and participate in her family reunion gatherings. Most recently Fay was employed by Patterson UTI Management Services and enjoyed many of her co-workers as another extended family in her life. Fay was also blessed with a wonderful college friend Lue Clark whom she considered her sister. Fay is survived by her loving husband, Max; daughter Maxiene, and step-children, Alton Webster, Kelly Simpson and Jennifer Ford. Grandchildren Cole Webster, Ritchie Ford and Ali Ford. Loving mother and care giver Ada Huyck Mead, brother Clare Huyck, and sisters, Eileen (Steve) Lienhart, and Glenna (Jim) Neuvirth. Sister-in-law Brenda (Bucky) Andrews, Brother-in-law Buddy (Twyler) Webster, Sister-in-law Susan Webster Olguin and brother-in-law Tracy (Kym) Webster. Aunt Fay was most loved by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Frank Huyck and a sister Donna Huyck. Visitation will be at Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home, at 206 West South St., in Lindale, 6:00 PM TO 8:00 PM Wednesday, April 28, 2010 and funeral service, at 11:30 AM Thursday, April 29, 2010 at First United Methodist Church, 229 Blackbourn St, in Hawkins with Rev. David Hicks and Rev. Danny Trimble officiating. Guests are asked to consider memorials to the Fay Webster Memorial Account, First National Bank of Gilmer, P.O. Box 520, Gilmer, TX 75644. The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice Center of East Texas, Tyler, for their excellent care, and their service and compassion to all the family during Fay's stay.
