Funeral services for Nina Rodriquez Bryan, age 50, of Lindale, Texas are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the Cross Brand Cowboy Church in Tyler, Texas with Judge James Cowart officiating. Interment will follow in the Lindale City Cemetery with services under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale. Nina died Saturday, February 13, 2021. She was born in Tyler, Texas on September 28, 1970 to Jose and Estella (Figirova) Rodriguez and was a lifelong resident of Lindale, Texas. Nina worked for Bonnie’s Salon in downtown Lindale since September 2004 and was a member of the Central Baptist Church. She was extremely committed to her lifelong passion of helping others. Nina loved her community and served it with extreme commitment and passion. Nina lead numerous events in her community that raised in excess of several hundred thousand dollars to help many people in need. From cancer patients to tornado victims, to accidental injuries….without her help, many of these recipients would not have had medical or financial help they needed to continue their lives. Her selfless actions resulted in life changing results for many. As a mother, grandmother, and having had a full-time job, Nina still found time to serve her community. She never said no to anyone in need of help. Planning and scheduling numerous benefits and events, she never wanted to receive credit for any of her hard work. Nina always gave credit to God, family, and friends joining together for a cause. She was a true leader and servant in her community. In 2017, Nina was awarded the much deserved honor of becoming the Lindale Area Chamber of Commerce’s Citizen of the Year. Most of all, Nina dedicated herself to the care of her most favorite people, her loving parents. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jesse Rodriquez; mother, Estella (Figirova) Rodriguez; and grandson, Hudson Hutchins. Nina is survived by her husband of 28 years, David Bryan, III of Lindale, Texas; son, Joseph Rodriquez and fiancé, Chelsea Adams of Lindale, Texas; daughters and son-in-law, Nicole and Wes Hutchins of Lindale, Texas and Patricia Bryan of Fruitvale, Texas; father, Jose “Joe” Rodriguez, Sr. of Lindale, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Joe, Jr. and Kathy Rodriquez of Lindale, Texas; sisters & brothers-in-law, Beatrice and Matt Geissal of Tyler, Texas and Bertie and Joe Kidd of Chandler, Texas; and grandchildren, Hannah Hutchins, Haylee Rodriquez, Nikki Jo Norton, John Norton and Hadlee Grace Hutchins; step-sons, David Bryan, IV of Murchison, Texas and Patrick Bryan of Fruitvale, Texas; and many other extended family members and numerous special friends who all loved her dearly. Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Brown, Anthony Voyles, Jimmy Smith, Mickey West, Bubba Brown, Rob Kizer. Honorary pallbearers will be David Allen, Mark Philpot, Jeff Daugherty, John Holey, Jeff Crews and Olan Loveless. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale.
