Funeral services for Delois A. Bybee, age 78 of Lindale, Texas, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 9, 2020 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home Chapel in Lindale, Texas with Bro. Byron Howard officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at the Lambertown Cemetery in Robeline, Louisiana with Pastor Jim Freeman officiating. Delois passed away Friday, August 7, 2020 in Tyler, Texas. She was born November 16, 1941 in Marthaville, Louisiana to the late Thomas L. and Ebber (Waters) Jordan. She has lived the past 45 years in Lindale where she was a member of Central Baptist Church and retired from Lindale I.S.D. as Cafeteria Supervisor. Delois enjoyed cooking, being outdoors working in her vegetable and flower gardens, spending time with her family, and was best known for her giving and loving spirit. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Charlie, Ray, Clifford, and Paul Jordan; and sister, Betty Dufrene. Delois is survived by her husband, Charles Bybee of Lindale, Texas; sons, Eric and William Hagewood both of Wills Point, Texas; daughters, Gail Davis and husband, Milton of Benbrook, Texas, Julie Garrett and husband, Brad of Canton, Texas, and Lisa Bartlett and husband, Dean of Canton, Texas; brothers, Don Jordan of Robeline, Louisiana, Kenneth Jordan and wife, Carolyn of Robeline, Louisiana, and Fred Jordan of Provencal, Louisiana; sisters, Doris Cooper of Appleton, Alabama; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service Sunday. As a Covid precaution masks are required at all visitations and services.
