Don C. Brown

Services for Don C. Brown, age 89 of Hideaway, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, December 30, 2016 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale. Interment will follow in the Rose Lawn Cemetery in Tyler. Mr. Brown died Sunday, December 25, 2016 at a Tyler hospital. He was born in Dallas on March 19, 1927 to the late Robert Fredrick and Addie Mae (Ground) Brown. Mr. Brown was formerly of Irving, Euless, and Quitman before moving to Hideaway in 2006. He worked for Boeing, Bell Helicopter, and LTV where he retired from in 1990. Mr. Brown was a Ham Radio operator and had his pilot’s license. He was preceded in death by sister, Bernita Singleton and brother, Calvin Brown. Mr. Brown was survived by wife, Earline Brown of Hideaway; 3 children, Steve and Becky Brown of Arlington; Cindy Green of McKinney; Glenn and Debbie Brown of Ft. Worth; 4 grandchildren, Adam Green of Melissa; Georgia Lee of Little Elm; Garrett Brown of Ft. Worth; and Emily Brown of Ft. Worth. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Friday, December 30, 2016 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale.
