Gregory "Greg" Acosta Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

A Funeral Mass for Gregory “Greg” Acosta, age 28 of Lindale, Texas, is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Lindale with Father Matthew Stehling officiating. Interment will follow at the Lindale City Cemetery. Greg passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020 in Peoria, Illinois. He was born April 16, 1992 in LaMesa, Californina. Greg has lived in Lindale for the past 15 years where he was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church. He was a self employed installer in the telecommunications industry. Greg liked working out and staying in shape as he enjoyed all sports, hiking and playing with his dogs. In his travels he enjoyed the beach and eating at good restaurants. He also enjoyed watching movies and spending time with his kids, mother, and sister. He is preceded in death by many loving family members. Greg is survived by his mother, Maria Acosta of Lindale, Texas; children, Julieta and Geeohney Acosta of Jacksonville, Texas; sister, Juliee Acosta of Lindale, Texas; and many other loving family members and friends. A Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, September 7, 2020 at Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale. Visitation will follow from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. As a Covid19 precaution masks are required at all visitations and services.
