Jerry Don Fisher Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Funeral services for Jerry Don Fisher, age 84 of Hideaway, Texas, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home Chapel in Lindale, Texas with Father Jim Cook officiating. Interment will follow at the Lindale City Cemetery. Jerry passed away Friday, May 27, 2022, at his home in Hideaway. He was born December 11, 1937, in Brownwood, Texas to the late J. F. and Annabelle (Cotton) Fisher. Jerry has lived in Hideaway for over 25 years and was previously of Corpus Christi, Texas. He served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves and then the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Jerry worked many years as District Manager for the Tandy Leather Corporation and prior to retirement was a Charter Boat Captain and Duck Hunting Guide. He enjoyed flying, golfing, fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his family. Jerry was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Aleta Faye and Bobby Freeman; daughter, Dixanne Linze Connally; and great-granddaughter, Abigail Anne. Jerry is survived by his wife of 42 years, Pamela Fisher of Hideaway; children, Brenda Casstevens and husband, Jimmy of Red Oak, Texas, Haley Lankford of Ft. Worth, Texas, Scarlett Mathis and husband, Ken of Trenton, Tennessee, and Jennifer Connally of Tyler, Texas; grandchildren, Shanon Levandowski and husband, Matt, T.J. Kranz Jr, Austin Lankford, Chaning Cruson and husband, Michael Dean III, Chad Mathis and wife, Nicole, Natalie Marbrey and husband, Zach, Paige Skelton and husband, Dylan, Slade Lockhart, and Dane Johnson-Connally; 8 great grandchildren; and numerous other loving family members and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Casstevens, Matt Levandowski, T.J. Kranz Jr, Austin Lankford, Slade Lockhart, and Dane Johnson-Connally.
