Funeral services for Joe Bradly, Jr., age 84, of Hideaway, Texas are scheduled for 1:00 pm Monday, October 2, 2017 in the Hideaway Lake Community Church with Rev. Paul Garrison officiating. Interment with military honors will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas, 75211 with Ray Chaney officiating. Services under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale, Texas. Mr. Bradly died Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at his residence in Hideaway. He was born in Kansas City, Kansas on May 1, 1933 to the late Joe Wilford, Sr. and Bernadine (Meisner) Bradly. Mr. Bradley served in the United States Air Force and graduated from Baylor University in 1955 and was a proud Baylor Bear. He worked as a financial advisor for many years and had been a member of the First Baptist Church in Dallas and Irving and was currently a member of the Hideaway Community Church in Hideaway. Mr. Bradly enjoyed playing golf, including in Scotland, and accomplished an impressive 6 “Holes in One”. He was preceded in death by his sister, Doreva Deason of Baton Rouge, Louisana. Mr. Bradly is survived by his wife, Jo Bradly of Hideaway, Texas; 2 daughters & sons-in-law, Caran & Ray Chaney of Trophy Club, Texas ; Eileen & Randy Kern of Trophy Club, Texas; step-son, Ricky Keith & wife, Jeri of Ardmore, Oklahoma; step-daughter, Teri Keith of Little Elm, Texas; grandchildren, Bradly Boswell, R. E. Wood, Christine Wood, James Kern, Alyssa and Emanuel Haw; step-grandchildren, Jessica Bailey & husband, Andy, Zach Jockenhoefer, Elisha Jockenhoefer and wife, Richauna, Anna Gunn and husband, Ian & and Nichole Jockenhoefer; great grandchildren, Savannah Rusk, Zeke Gunn, Cayden Roach, James Jockenhoefer, Richard Jockenhoefer, and Joshua Jockenhoefer; and numerous cousins. Serving as pallbearers will be Bradly Boswell, J. Johnson, Ralph Neal, Bill Woodard, Don Vickery, Dennis Williams, Bob Shabot, David Stubblefield. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, October 1, 2017 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale, Texas.
