A graveside service for Mrs. Judy (Sherwood) Hollis, age 68 of Lindale, Texas, is scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the Pilgrim Rest #2 Cemetery in Alba, Texas with Bro. Gary Johnston officiating. Services are under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale, Texas. Mrs. Hollis died Monday, November 25, 2019 at a hospital in Tyler, Texas. She was born in Tyler, Texas on June 2, 1951 to the late Oval John and Verna Faye (Fitzgerald) Sherwood. She was formerly of Commerce, Texas before moving to Lindale, Texas in 1989. Mrs. Hollis was homemaker having been involved in the PTA and loved spending time and raising her children. She was preceded in death by her 2 sons, John William Hollis in 1991 and Tracy R. Hollis in 2007, and granddaughter, Ashley Anne Kulik in 2016. Mrs. Hollis is survived by her husband, Don Hollis of Lindale; daughter, Brandy Hollis of Commerce; 2 brothers, Larry Sherwood and wife, Norma of Houston; Barry Sherwood of Lindale; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, December 6, 2019 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale.
