Randy Willmon Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Funeral services for Randy Willmon, age 53, of Lindale, Texas, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at the First Baptist Church in Sunnyvale, Texas, with Pastor David Hickey officiating. Interment will follow in the Lindale City Cemetery in Lindale, Texas, with services under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale. Randy died Thursday, March 15, 2018, at his home in Lindale. He was born in Seville, Spain, on March 12, 1965, to Nichols Edwin and Betty Louise (Hooper) Willmon and graduated from Mesquite High School in Mesquite, Texas. Randy held the rank of Captain for the City of Dallas Fire Department where he worked for 28 years and served on the Lindale Volunteer Fire Department in different capacities for 9 years. He was a member of the Community Christian Fellowship Church for 15 years where he also led as an elder. Randy is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Willmon of Lindale, Texas; 2 sons, Nolan Willmon and wife, Missy of Irving, Texas and Garrett Willmon and wife, Hayleigh of Lindale, Texas; parents, Nick & Betty Willmon of Mesquite, Texas; brother & sister-in-law, Floyd & Vicki Willmon of Bossier City, Louisiana; sister, Sherry Willmon of Mesquite, Texas; 3 grandchildren, Wyatt, Hayes and Laila Willmon, all of Lindale, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Willmon in 2016, who is survived by his wife, Diane Willmon. Serving as pallbearers will be Nolan Willmon, Garrett Willmon, David Barber, Matt Good, Sean Farrell, Rusty Hogan, Rick Robinson, and Floyd Willmon. Honorary pallbearers are Trevor Smyrl, Skye Day, Blake Money, Brett Barber and Blake Brody. The Willmon Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday, March 19, 2018, at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale, Texas.
