Sharon Lynn Flory Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Memorial services for Sharon Lynn Flory age 69, of Lindale, Texas are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 16, 2020 at the Mt. Sylvan Baptist Church at the gazebo on the hill outdoors with Bro. Bruce Rudd and Gary Flory officiating. Private family graveside services will be held at the Lindale City Cemetery with services under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale. Sharon went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 9, 2020. She was born in Long Beach, California on October 16, 1950 to Lloyd and Sally Jane (Wade) Van Arsdale. Sharon was a member of the Mt. Sylvan Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Van Arsdale; brother, Lance Deke; and step-father, Bud Deke. Sharon is survived by her loving husband of almost 49 years, Gary Wayne Flory of Lindale, Texas; sons & daughter-in-law, Joshua & Nikki Flory and grandchildren Emma, Ethan, Jeremiah, Ella of Brambleton, Virginia and Samuel Flory of Hoboken, New Jersey; daughters & sons-in-law, Sarah & Jason Haddix and grandchildren Aubrey, Bryson, Landrey, Luke, Lindsey of Parker, Texas and Anna & Chuck Maher and grandchildren Autumn, Charlie, London of San Antonio, Texas; mother, Sally Deke of Longview, Texas; brother, Mike Deke of Longview, Texas; sister, Rickey Wilson of Longview, Texas. Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, sister, friend and committed servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Prior to being disabled with Multiple Sclerosis she wrote and taught Bible Studies, counseled, encouraged and loved many.
