Anna Lou Langley Barnett

Funeral services for Anna Lou Langley Barnett, age 85 of Tyler, Texas, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 20, 2026, at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home Chapel in Lindale, Texas, with Pastor Lewis Pollard officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Lindale City Cemetery. Anna passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at her home in Tyler. She was born on May 23, 1941, in Bullard, Texas, to the late Joe Lovic and Maxine (Splawn) Langley. Anna grew up in Bullard and graduated from Bullard High School before spending the remainder of her life in the Tyler area. She later retired from East Texas Seed after many years of dedicated service as a bookkeeper. Anna loved the Lord and found comfort and joy in reading her Bible. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who treasured her family deeply. She also loved spending time with her in-laws and cherished the relationships she shared with them. Anna and her husband, Earl, enjoyed traveling together during their years of marriage, making memories along the way. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, and the occasional trip to IHOP. She had a special love for animals and children. Above all, Anna loved her family, and her family adored her. Her gentle presence, love, and devotion to those around her will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Bailey Barnett; son, Samuel Ray Barnett; grandson, Joshuah Butler; sister, Maxine Jo Keeton; and brother, Samuel Seale Langley. She is survived by her grandchildren, Samantha Rae Barnett-Leavings and husband, Clint, of Tyler; Braxton Leavings; and Heather Wehunt; great-grandchildren, Annabelle Brown; Emma Marie-Grace Butler; DJ Allen; Cameron Culpepper; Derrick Click; Luke Leavings; Naomi Bowers; and Bajie Wehunt; and sister-in-law, Wilda King Langley of Tyler. Anna will be remembered for her love of the Lord, her devotion to her family, and the warmth and kindness she showed to those around her. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
