Gid Stegall

Gid Stegall, age 82, went to be with our lord on December 9th, 2021. Gid was born on July 9th, 1939, to parents Gid Stegall Sr and Ollie Dudley. He married the love of his life Mary Diana Graham on December 2, 1966, and just celebrated 55 years together. Gid made his living running and owning his own HVAC business for 50+ years. Gid was an example of what every man should strive to be like. He was a loving husband who adored his wife Diana, he was a loving father who did anything and everything he could to make sure his three daughters were always taken care of. He was an active grandfather, whether it was sitting at a football game, in the stands at a basketball game or baseball game, or even a dance recital he would be there every weekend and even some weeknights. You could always catch Gid at some kind of event either supporting his grandkids or the local teams he loved to watch. Gid was a hard worker and devoted family man who loved life and loved the company that he had built throughout the years. He worked until the very last second of his time here on Earth. He was a provider, he always wanted to make sure that everyone he loved was taken care of so that they never had to struggle or worry. You couldnt hold Gid down for long, he was always on the go. He was so full of life and love for his family. Gid is survived by his wife Diana, his daughters Deborah White, Rhonda Loosier, Dawn Mayne and Columbian daughter Luisa Seelbach, his sister Linda Massey, his Grandsons Hunter Thibodeaux, Austin Loosier, Ashton Loosier,and Gavin Mayne his granddaughters Kaylee Wright, Alyssa Loosier, Snow White, Hannah Sisco, Ily Mayne and Jaci Mayne, Great-grands Kayson Wright, Winter Wright, Jasper Kilgore and also has one on the way, along with many friends and loved ones. He is preceded in death by his parents Ollie Addie Dudley and Gid Cleveland Stegall Sr., his Stepmother Nan Stegall, his Mother in law Lillie Ruth Graham and Father in law C.W. Graham, and his brother Jerry Ray Stegall. Serving as pallbearers will be Shane Loosier, Ashton Loosier, Austin Loosier, Gary Parker, Eddie Clark, and Hunter Thibodeaux. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home Chapel in Lindale, Texas with Bro. Bruce Rudd officiating. Interment will follow at Damascus Cemetery in Lindale. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2021, at Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home.
